Scheme of process and digester

This process is characterised by generating energy from biomass with garage-shaped digesters / fermentation containers. The digesters are constructed gas-tight and wheeled loaders or front loaders can be used for emptying/filling.

Usually, multiple digesters are combined into one block and can be operated with time lags in batch operation. Since biomasses with very high dry matter content are processed in BEKON dry fermentation plants, the entire plant is compactly designed. The modular construction with multiple digesters lets the plant be expanded at any time if the capacity needs to be increased at a later time.
